To stay abreast of new and ever-changing laws, and to continually hone and enhance his legal knowledge, Evan Farr attends an average of more than 18 hours per year of Continuing Legal Education classes, which is more than one and half times the state requirement.

Evan is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association's Elder Law Section and Trusts & Estates Section, and has served in numerous leadership positions within the Association, including Chair of the Election Committee, Chair of the Long Range Planning Committee, and Chair of the Law Practice Management Section.

In his personal life, Evan is very active in his church and in Scouting.  At Fairfax United Methodist Church, Evan serves as a Trustee and as Chair of the Memorials Committee.  For Scouting, Evan serves as a Den Leader and as Membership Chair for his son's Cub Scout pack and as the Webelos-to-Scout Transition Chair for the Sully District.  Evan lives in Clifton with his wife and family.
